Grumbacher Picture Varnish is a final varnish that produces a uniform satin finish for oil and acrylic paintings. It is processed with acrylic resin and protects from atmospheric impurities. This brush-on varnish should be applied to finished works that have dried for at least 6 months for oil paintings, and 5 days for acrylics. Test the varnish and your application method before applying to finished artwork. Apply in even strokes left to right. Let dry before turning work 90 degrees before re-applying. Can be removed with paint thinner or other mild solvent. Not for use in oil painting medium preparation. Made in the USA.
